ABOUT K MARIE EVENTS

K Marie Events was launched in September 2012 by Owner and Director Kristen Newlyn and quickly secured it's first client, the Semaphore Street Fair as part of the Semaphore Mainstreet Association's activity calendar.

Kristen's passion for event planning and management further led to a variety of successful private and corporate events. K Marie Events secured the contract to manage the Adelaide International Kite Festival, working alongside the Adelaide Kite Flyers Association.  This event is one of the largest of it's kind in Australia and has provided great opportunity for K Marie Events to secure it's position in the industry as managing large scale community events and to grow them across years of involvement.

K Marie Events continues to grow, maintaining not only the management contract for the Adelaide International Kite Festival, but contributing to the success of many other small and large scale events.  From private and personal occasions, to high end fundraising balls and corporate affairs, K Marie Events provides both a creative and well managed approach for each client.​

We take the time to sit, for as long as it takes, to complete a synopsis of each clients wishes, dreams and intentions for their event.  We document all expectations and aspirations, known as 'The Brief'

THE CREATIVE

This is where K Marie Events really thrive.  With a complete understanding of the clients expectations and dreams we go away and develop a creative concept to suit.  Whether it is a themed Gala events or a small and intimate classical wedding, we will ensure your personality and benchmarks are met

THE DELIVERY

With an exceptional eye for detail and a can do attitude from the entire K Marie Events team, delivery is simply a matter of putting their well laid plans into action.  A sign of a good event manager is that they go unnoticed during the event.  We pride ourselves on our impeccable planning, quick thinking and ability to predict issues before they occur.  Your event is always in good hands with our team.

Kristen is a true creative.  Her ideas and concepts often break out of the 'box' providing exciting and interactive events for her clients.  Kristen completed her event planning studies in 2010 launching straight into the management of high profile community based events in South Australia.  Along side her business Kristen has also been working within top tier organisations such as The Royal Flying Doctor Service and , allowing her to further develop her event planning skills across the not-for-profit and charity sectors.

Kristen's positive outlook and can-do attitude allows clients to feel at ease throughout the whole planning and implementation stages of their events.  With her direction, events are well thought out and planned for, providing regular consultation with the client during the process.
